What is the default storage limit on PIKD?
PIKD offers different storage capacities depending on the plan:
Basic Plan: 500GB
Pro Plan: 2TB
Advanced Plan: 5TB
Agency Plan: 20TB
These limits define how much data users can store in their account.
Can I expand my storage capacity?
Yes! Users can extend their storage in 5TB increments up to 100TB and beyond. This allows photographers and agencies to scale their storage based on their needs.
How do I purchase additional storage?
Additional storage can be purchased as an add-on at any time. Simply fill out the request form and indicate how much extra space you need. You will receive a custom quote based on the current storage pricing.
Can I enable automatic backups for my images?
Yes, all content is automatically backed up on PIKD’s servers. However, once you delete a file in your account, it is also removed from the backup. Deleted images cannot be restored.
The reason for this policy is that large file sizes require significant storage resources. Keeping deleted files permanently would require reserving a much larger storage capacity, which is not practical. Essentially, your backups are protected unless you manually delete your files.
How does PIKD’s backup extension work?
Any storage extension you purchase is added to your total storage capacity. The system automatically allocates storage between collaboration and backup so that you don’t have to manage it manually.
What happens if I reach my storage limit?
You can upgrade your storage up to 100TB in 5TB increments. If you reach the 100TB limit, you can contact us, and we will work with you to expand your storage beyond 100TB!
