What is Single File Sharing?

Sometimes you don’t need to send an entire gallery—just one image, one video, or one ZIP file.

With PIKD, you can instantly generate a shareable link for any individual file, directly from the file’s context menu.

No need to create a gallery, no extra steps—just pick, share, done.

How to Share a Single File

  1. Go to the file inside any folder

  2. Click the three dots (⋯) or right-click the file

  3. Select “Share File”

  4. Adjust settings if needed and copy the link

You’re done. Send it out with confidence.

🎯 Why Use It?

✅ Speed & Simplicity

Need to send a client their retouched image? Or share a single draft video for review?

Just right-click the file and select “Share File” – a unique download link is instantly created.

🔒 Privacy & Control

You’re not exposing your full project or folder—just that one file.

Ideal when you need to share something selectively, like:

  • A final image delivery

  • A teaser for social

  • A video proof

  • A ZIP or RAW file for download

🔗 Standalone, Branded Links

Each file link is independent, and you can still customize:

  • Password protection

  • Watermarking (if applicable)

  • Download permissions (e.g. full-res or preview only)

  • Branding (Pro: add your name/logo to the link page)

💡 Use Cases

  • 🔁 Sending revision files or versions individually

  • 🎬 Sharing a single video proof for client feedback

  • 📷 Delivering select images post-shoot

  • 📁 Providing downloadable source files (e.g. PSD, ZIP)

Pro Tip:

Use single file sharing to stay organized—no need to create mini-galleries just for one-off deliveries. It keeps your dashboard clean and your workflow fast.

Need to revoke access later? You can always disable the link from your sharing settings.
